It's been a long time since i posted something here.... last time i think was January.... I'm very much pregnant now and very much tied up at home. i really cant do anything now coz i have this case of Placenta Previa or what is commonly referred to as "low lying placenta". My placenta is very near my cervix which often results to several bleeding episodes. i was confined to the hospital 3 times already bcoz of this. Fortunately my daughter is very fine. Yes, she's a very healthy baby girl! She'll be out in more likely 6 weeks via c-section coz my present situation doesnt allow me to deliver her naturally. I'll keep you posted! Till then!

I was suppose to have my menstruation last November 19, 2005.... It did'nt came... at first we thought that it was maybe because of stress or something. But then i felt different so we decided to take a pregnancy test.... and there it was, right before our eyes... two lines... signifying a new life. Jon was, at first, shocked. Honeymoon baby ito! and when he got his senses back... he became more excited than I am... he was the one very eager to go to the doctor, to buy me vitamins and stuffs like that.

So we went to Jennie's OB.... Our baby will be arriving on or a week earlier than July 26, 2006.

“DECEMBER – The Real Reason for the Season!”

“Silver bells…… silver bells….. It’s Christmas time in the city!” …. La la la…. Every morning, since about a week ago, I would always hear my neighbor play this song at around 6 or 7 in the morning…. Gosh, morning ritual ito!… he he he. But most people really do want to enjoy the moment especially that Christmas is just around the corner.

Basta kapag December asahan mo na itong mag ito: Bonus, pag may bonus, may shopping….. pag may shopping, nandyan ang discounts, tawaran, cramming sa pag-buy ng gift, and most of all….. TRAFFIC!

But many of us have not really realized the true essence and reason for this coming season. The month of December is filled with expectation and celebration. Preparation is the key word for the first 24 days of December. Everyone is getting ready for Christmas — Actually, too busy shopping and decorating, cooking and cleaning. Too often, however, we are so busy with the material preparations that we lose sight of the real reason for our activity.

The month of December is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, which is celebrated on December 8 and the first 24 days of December fall during the liturgical season known as Advent. The Liturgy of Advent, as what I’ve read, focuses on remembering Christ's first coming at Bethlehem which then directs our mind to Christ's Second Coming at the end of time. The readings focus on the people of the Old Testament awaiting the Messiah, John the Baptist who heralding the way for Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary and her maternal preparations.

Christmas is a very special feast of the Catholic Church and we must reclaim it and celebrate it as such! It’s just same when a family eagerly prepares for a baby, so in Advent we prepare for the coming of the Christ Child. We should keep Advent as a season of waiting and longing, of hope, of incredible love and humility of our God in giving us his only son. Also, let us not forget to prepare a place in our hearts wherein our Savior may come to dwell.

The best person we can turn to for help during Advent is Mother Mary. She awaited the day of His birth with more eagerness than any other human being. Her preparation was complete in every respect. Let's borrow something from Mother Mary. Her prayerfulness, her purity and whole-hearted submission to God's will as we together welcome the coming of our Savior in this special season.

"LSS Outreach at Ayala Alabang!"

We, the Music Ministry, were at Ayala Alabang Last weekend to serve in the Tagalog LSS of the Parish of St. James the Great Renewal Movement. Saya Saya.... there were a hundred plus participants, all of which are helpers, drivers, yayas of the residents there... its so touching especially when they share life testimonies and you'll feel blessed to have served such a group. Next year ulit.

It was also Mommy Rica's birthday last sunday.... ginimikan namin cya.... as if kunyari natulog lahat kami ng maaga at dineadma ang bday na.... so while she was deep in her sleep we all woke up at around 12 midnight.... at para kaming mga mumo na nang gapang at habang hawak ang cake ay kinantahan namin cya ng happy birthday. Naalimpungatan ang lola.... at tila parang na shock sa nakita nya na mga multo... mga kasama nya na natayo-tayo pa ang buhok at may hakaw na cake... Check the Pic to see why..... obvious ba!!! Touch daw cya.... ha ha ha!!!!

LONG VACATION!

Yup... i had a long vacation..... from the 28th of Oct till the 6th of Nov. . . ayun i did some chores... visited my tita who's confined right now at the heart center... what else.... hmmmmm... went to the cemetery.... and the best part is that i had plenty of rest.

And then come November 7..... arrrrrggggggg!!! ang hirap sumakay sa mrt ha..... Pasaway yung mga tao kaninang umaga ha..... i felt that i was being wrestled by John Cena.... (uy..... papa!) I left the house this morning feeling fresh and all.... aba! when i reach the station... grabe..... to all mrt riders.... i know you get my drift!

Now that i'm married, i saw a lot of changes..

Its cool to have your own place.
I have to wake up at 6 am to fix breakfast.
I have to go home early for dinner.
I care more on the things/appliances in the house. Worrying if they're just ok there coz both of us is at work.
I MISS MY MOM!!!!!!! Hu hu hu!
Budget.... Budget.... Budget!
I cook more and eat less..... i dunno why.
I make sure that the wet towels are all hunged.
I clean everything before i sleep w/c i dont usually do while i was still single.... - Walang Paki-alam. He he he.
I make sure that the door and windows are locked before we leave.
I fix our beddings automatically when i wake up.... Gosh... i dont do that before! Ha ha ha.
Clean the toilets.
Clean the stove.
Clean the house.
Clean everything!
Dirty laundry should always be putted in the "pero-pero" (laundry basket).
MOMMY!!!!! Still miss my mom!

The funny thing is that i'm "HAPPY" doing all these things! Weird noh!

Last October 19, 2005, i became Mrs. Shannie Capiz - Madayag ..... I could'nt sleep the night before. i was so tensed, excited, happy, sad .... lahat lahat..... halo halo...... mixed emotion. Then, the funny thing is when jon called me up.... di rin daw cya makatulog kasi kinakabahan siya..... kinakabahan siya pero tawa cya ng tawa. Crazy noh!

At long last, our server is fixed…. At least I can now update my posts…. And, as usual…. I’m still very busy w tons of things.

Btw, My high school batch (Siena College Batch ’92) held our first reunion after 13 years… nakakatuwa kasi, after a long time, nagkasamasama ulit kami and its like as if nothing’s changed. It was like the good ol’ days. But I wished na sana mas marami pa yung dumating na mga batchmates. I’ll post some pics….

Last Sunday, The Music Ministry had a recollection…. Our speakers were Bro Aron Gogna and Bro. Obet Cabrillas…. Then we celebrated a mass in the afternoon, Fr. Larry Faraon was our priest. We had some group activities and a lot of tears were shed (tears of joy, that is) We’ve learned that in life there are three experiences…. The “Desert Experience” – our low points in life, the “Manna Experience” – the part of our life where in God sents us his blessing in whatever form and circumstance and the “Promise Land Experience” – wherein you’ll experience the bounty of the harvest!

My Worthwhile week

Hey guys..... i served last Sept 6, 7 and 8 for a Life in the Spirit seminar for the Disabled..... at was kinda different among the other LSS's that i had served in.... the participants there are physically challenged, blind, have CP..... which makes you think that you are still lucky to have your senses together.... that you can walk, you can do everything.... but trully they have inspired us to be more usefull with what we've got..... then there is this one participant named peewee.... he is actually a n BS Math Graduate at UST and a Web Designed at the same time.... but everything was taken away from him when he was diagnosed with cerebral pulsy. Haaaay, but inspite and despite of everything is the most cheerful among the group. I'll post the pics maybe later.

Then we sang at this worship and healing activity at the ultra last sunday, September 11, 2005. Juliet Kim, the Korean Visionary was there to do the healing services...... Daming Tao. Puno yung Ultra.

Nakakapagod... paos na nga din ako.... pero, gaya ng dati kong sinasabi....... Sulit Pa Din! Basta Para kay Lord!

Aniweiz, sorry po, i've been so busy lately.... that i havent got time to update my blog.... so let me just inform you guys what had transpired the past month...

*Badminton - we've been playing (me and my ofcmates) badminton every friday.... cheap lang kasi.... we play at "The Zone"... 100 pesos lang ang rate nila from 6:30 am till 5 p.m..... its located here at makati. Atleast i get to have some exercise... para maburn naman yung mga unwanted fats na we've consume.

*Music Ministry - we had a re-organization of the ministry.... workloads were distributed para mas madali matapos ang trabaho. im heading the library, medyo madami pa dapat ayusin lalo na sa mga lyrics and areglo.... our room is being renovated as of the moment.... we have a new pc (thanks to the generosity of papa jesse) ma fa-file na namin ng maayos yung mga dapat ayusin from the lyrics to the piyesa to the digital copies of the song. Haaaaayyyyy, ang toxic.

Then, we have many upcoming activities.... like a LSS for the disabled on sept 6,7 & 8.... then praise & worship plus healing activity at the ultra on sept 11, another LSS on october.... plus the weekly rehearsals and voice lessons every monday....

*Me & My Pufzy - we're starting to look for a place to rent para makapagstart na kami sa bagong buhay na haharapin namin (ma-drama). We wanted to settle our home to be para after the wedding may tutuluyan na kami.... actually kumpleto na rin kami sa gamit.... we'v been buying stuffs na kasi mula pa noon.... airconditioning unit nalang ang kulang.... maybe sa christmas na... para may budget. we just bought this home entertainment thingy... grabe when we tried it.... sobrang surround sound talaga. nice nga!

Last friday, i went to the mowelfund "Museo ng Pilikulang Pilipino". i was impressed on how the organizers had collected different posters, costumes, trophies/awards of our actors and actresses... from the spanish circa to the present. ganda....

i was there coz i was the advance person of my boss (he's one of the special guest to grace the activity) i saw imelda marcos - pretty padin cya and also gloria romero... at her age, she's still well poised ha. There were plenty of movie and political personalities there.....

Eh kung yung pera ko na pinapangbabayad sa tax sa kin na lang napunta, eh di sana nakakapanood pa ko ng sine at least 2 beses sa isang buwan. Nakabili na sana ako
ng bagong rubber shoes. Nakapagpagawa na sana ako ng sarili kong bahay.

Yung tax na binabayad ko, karamihan nun derecho sa bulsa ng mga corrupt na mga government officials at workers. Habang hirap na hirap akong i-budget ang
pera ko, sila naman nagpapakasarap sa mga mansyon. SUV's at luxury cars pa ang dina-drive nila, samantalang ako sa pedicab lang sumasakay!

P****** INA! PERA KO YANG PINAPAGPAP! ASASAAN NYO!!!!!

Yung tax na binabayad ko, pinapangsuporta sa mga mahihirap. Saan ba galing ang pera pangpagawa ng housing at pagtulong sa mga mahihirap, di ba sa mga manggagawa na nagbabayad ng buwis! Pero karamihan ng mahihirap, kung umasta kala mo inaapi sila ng sobra.

SA TOTOO LANG NO, KAYA ANG MGA MAHIHIRAP LALONG NAGHIHIRAP KASI MGA TAMAD!

Ang daming mga tambay sa kalye na walang trabaho pero ang laki ng katawan. Eh kung sila ba nagkargador sa pier eh di sana may pera sila.

Ewan ko ba kung ano ang meron tuwing lunes at nagkakagulo ang mga tao sa pagpunta nila kung saan-saan. Grabbbeeee talaga... siksikan sa mrt... (what's new aniweiz!). haba ng pila sa sakayan dito sa buendia... etc... etc!

my fone is kinda busted.... the funny thing is that i just got the replacement of its battery last friday, at about lunch time, then at around 6pm... ayaw nanaman nyang mag charge... good thing that it has a warranty with semicon. Ang saya ng Birthday ko !!!!!!!!!!

Another funny thing is that last week i was advised by semicon that the replecament of my battery should take about a week or so..... pero lagpas na ng 1 week wala pa daw yung replacement, instead, they told me that i still have to wait for like 2 to 3 weeks... or so to get the replacement... i was sooo pissed off with what i'd heard. grabeeee .... 3 weeks just for a replacement.... helllloooooooo!

Then i called up thier main office.... i was surprised when they told me that the replacement was already there..... monday pa daw... (it was thurs na) haaaaaaay. So i called the SM City Branch again and told them that i was informed by thier head office that the replacement was already there...... ayun, nagka utal-utal na yung kausap ko dahil nakita nga nila na nandun na yung batt...... sabi ko nga sayang lang yung name na meron ang semicon kung di nila inaayos ng mabuti yung services nila.... not to mention how their agents would handle calls or how they would answer the questions of thier clients. Patawa talaga!

So .... ewan ko kung ano yung nangyari at bakit ayaw na ulit gumana yung batt.... binalik ko nalang ulit sa semicon pati yung fone ang yung charger..... 3 to 5 working days pa daw. Sana by the time i get my fone back.... gumagana na sana ng maayos ito!

My bday is just around the corner. another year younger (older, that is).... 29! hummmmm not bad, after all the things that i have been through and all the mind-blowing experiences and the ups and downs, the rollercoaster ride, hummmm ano pa ba..... Basta!

Parang wala lang. im happy that the Lord, still, has the patience to give me a chance to live this long. sabagay di naman ako masamang kabayo, di rin naman ako anghel. im just in between.

pero meron pa rin kulang. i wanted to have something or to achieve something but still, i dont know what it really is. somethimes i would pray to God that He would make me whole again. to heal up my brokeness. to help me be strong for everything. pero alam ko din na minsan ako din yung may pag-kukulang. isa pa akong stubborn na nilalang. That's it. period.

a person cannot possibly get what he or she wants if he or she wont work for it.

a peaceful and a contented life is probably what i need. saka cguro kailangan na din naming mag settledown ni jon.

i been busy lately with much work that i havnt got any chance of posting something here. i feel sick, sama ng pakiramdam ko. cguro puyat ito at baka pagod lang me. dami ko nanaman pimples ngayon. funny lang kasi nasa chin ko lang cya lumalabas at wala sa cheeks or sa forehead.... ha ha! well thats gud...

we finished the rehearsal for papa jesse's line-up last night mga past 12mn na. grabe sakit sa ulo nung piyesa na pinag-aaralan namin. its a good thing i can read notes that's why its easier for me kaysa sa mga kasama ko.

tag-ulan nanaman. lakas nga ng rain kanina umaga bago me pumasok. tapos hirap pa sumakay ng mrt kasi dami tao, pasukan na din kasi kaya dami nanaman tao.

i really dont have anything edible and nice to post now. sensya na sa mga bumibisita sa akong munting blog.

i'll post something good next time.

i have been to down and irritated lately.... maybe its bcoz of the heat and the attitudes of my relatives.....my uncle to be exact. i just cant figure out how he can manage to sleep at night and yet cant even do a litle favor for his own mother! grabe talaga! its us, mostly my mom, who actually puts a lot of sacrifices just to take care of her. if you'll look at the big picture, my grandmother isnt even my mom's mother. she's my dad's mom. ok lang naman sa amin yun kasi lola ko naman yan.... pero i think they owe my mom plenty! and when i say plenty... i really mean plenty....

one day, before we left the old house.... my mom was asking a little favor from my ... ehem.... i dont know what adjective best suits him... my uncle(my dad's bro)... magtratransfer na kami... syempre naman, maaawa ka naman sa lola ko na maalikabok, di na namin cya halos maharap kasi we wer really busy packing up things... mama was asking them to look after my lola for like about a week until after we've settled down to the new house.... but instead of giving a little solution to this, he raised his voice and shouted .... "bakit?".... then my mom ans back "anong bakit?".... he then replied "eh bakit nga?" helllloooooooo he was questioning my mom kung bakit daw dadalin sa kanila lola ko! for christs sakes.... its his own mother tapos tinatangihan nya.... and then the conversation ended up in so many harsh, painful words from my so called "lay minister" uncle! he even badmouthed my mom. (hay naku, kung malalaman nyo lang ang mga pinagsasabi nya - you will not even think na masasabi nya yun after all the sacrifices that we've made for my lola.)

its just so sad kasi sarili nyang ina ginaganon nya. saka to think nagbibigay cya ng communion sa church tapos ganon ugali nya... san daw nya ilalagay ang nanay sa bahay nila?.... the main reason here is that... takot siyang mabuko siya sa lahat ng kalokohan nila... and ofkors, di sila makkalabas ng bahay pag nandoon lola ko.... not to mention the money he is spending (which is my lola's). and they even bought a revo.... hummmm i wonder where they get the money to pay the monthly..... He is afraid of the responsibility that he's gonna face.

and to what he did to my mom..... i think it will take a long while for me to forgive him for what he had said and done.... di nga cya makapaok sa bahay namin ngayon.... kapal lang ng mukha nya pag ginawa pa nya yun....

he would even, you know, tell people (after my dad died) that he'll take care of me and my bro "di ko pababayaan ang mga batang iyan!"....

yeah CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i pity my lola, she doesnt deserve to be treated like that... and she does not deserve na pabayaan nila at after nilang ubusin yung money ng lola ko, they'll just leave her like that.... dahil ba na stroke na cya and her body is not of use anymore? come on!

aniweiz, i believe in karma..... so i'll leave it to that!

Ive been so busy last weekend... i thought that i would be having a long weekend w the 4-day/week sked and monday was declared a holiday.... but to no avail... i was on my feet and getting my hands full w the following activities:

1. LABOR DAY - we were task to be the senator's advance group during his speech last sunday at the Liwasang Bonifacio... since saturday night i was already cramming coz our speech writter was out of town.... so i have to wait for our chief of staff to get some instructions and do the speech.... so we ended up having the speech ready by early sunday morning... another funny eksena was we were instructed to go to bonifacio..... haller, parang ang daming bonifacio, merong bonifacio thingy sa balintawak, meron bonifacio monument sa caloocan..... then finally, i was able to contact my boss and the venue pala is liwasang bonifacio... haaaay, tagal pa naman namin naghihintay sa balintawak, kasi all along, we thought dun yun... wala naman kasing proper instructions.... aniweiz, we made it there on time... enough time to coordinate w the people there and to brief my boss... pero masaya.... there were so many madlang people there.... meron pa nga na binugbog...... as in bugbog sarado talaga.... he is an infiltrator from the military... sarhento pala ng militar.... aniwez, the whole activity was successful....

2. Dona Mary Ejercito's Bday - May 5, 2005, we sang during the mass at dona mary's 100th bday celebration at the manila hotel fiesta pavilion... the activity started at 5 pm.. 5 priests officiated the mass headed by Bishop Bacani... The setting was great, pink is the motiff... the dinner was great. The President was there also, saying: "now i know how cinderella feels!" he was given untill 11 pm to stay there. And ganda nung souvenir, its a cook book w dona mary's recipes and a CD of all her fav songs.

know im having a hard time breathing coz of a cold.... sakit na nga ng ilong ko... sobrang barado talaga....

its just another manic monday!!! wow! aga ko today sa ofc.... i woke up kind early. kaso trafik papunta edsa then dami pa tao sa mrt (as usual). Hirap ng naglilipat ng haws, one week na kami naghahakot ng things. Nakakapagod!aniweiz, i'll keep you guyz posted on our new address... Q.C pa din naman, di pa nman ako namumundok. he he he...., ummmmm ano pa ba... sa lahat ng nagdadiet, be carefull not to overdo it. like me, sobrang hyper acidic nanaman at nagka gastro enteritis nanaman me kasi nga nagpupumilit ang lola nyo na magpa payat... :) ang mahal ng medz ha. kaya ayun, back to frequent small meals ako.... bawal lahat ng spicy chuva, soda, milk, choco, coffee, fatty fuds, calcium, vit c, blah blah blah! in other words.... fish and chicken lang (white meat) water and yakult lang ang ubra..... eh di parang nag diet din ako.... hummmmmp, labo! ha ha ha. i'll miss my caffeine moments!!! uppers ko yun eh! haaaaaay! the things you have to go through just to get thin again.....! (WISH KO LANG!)

its been almost a month since i last updated my blog.... maybe i was just too pre-occupied with everythings that is happening right now. So, what's the lates buzz about me? hmmmmmm let me see....

*Lets us start w last holy week's activities... i've been too busy singing.... first, during the anuual palm sunday recollection of Father Gery Orboz at the Meralco Theater.... i led the opening Praise and Worship thingy.... Actually, televised cya. Second, we served at the Life In the Spirit Seminar of the Oasis of Love at Tagaytay. It was held last Holy Monday to Weds. Then we attended the Good Friday Procession a Meyc, Bulacan..... i think its my 7 year already!

*Balik pasok nanaman sa ofc... luckily, skeletal kami kasi recess ng session, kaya ayun, i had ample time to rest.

*Next, we're transferring home. We'll be moving somewhere in E.Rod. at least near sa lahat ng places na pinupuntahan ko. kaso malayo kay Pufzy.

*Now I'm here at the office, still finishing a lot of filing and paperworks..... as usual.

well.... un lang.... i hope i wont be this busy in the coming weeks so that i could pay a little attention to my blog..... haaaaaaayyyyyyy! life is soooo tiring.... Ganyan talaga..... !

me & jon are looking for a new house that we can purchase... sabi ko nga sa kanya, kaysa mag rent pa kami after the wedding, i'd rather go on installment basis... i dont want to pay a monthly rent tapos wala naman end result... at least even if we would have to pay monthly, may house ka naman kami na na-invest. sayang naman din yung membership namin sa pag-ibig fund kung di naman din cya maagamit.

We went last night to the wake of my friend (reynald).... layo ... nova pa..... aniweiz, there was a necrlogical service for him.... then just as i arrived home..... nag text sakin si momsi... informing me na yung 7 y.o. son nung ofcmate ko na si ched, just died... nalunod daw sa pool nung neighbor nila.... unfortunately, wala dun si ched kasi naka confine pa sya sa hosp due to post operation infrection sa appendix nya.... haaaaayyyyyy! what a day! lahat nga kami dito sa ofc feels so low. aniweiz, my prayers goes to the soul of this child that eternal rest be grant unto him.... and more to ched that the Lord bless her w more strength to face this trial. i know how a mother feels to lose a son... just remembering how my mom suffered when my bro died.... she was so devastated...... it took her a year to have this heavy load be lifted from her. She would cry everytime she would see or hear something that would remind her of kuya paul...... Time heals! and now she's a better person.... more stronger! I pray the same for ched.... let time and the spirit of God heal her and her family.

I been given the task to take care of my grandmother during the weekend because my mom went to laguna to attend the burial of my uncle who died of a heart attack. i cooked lunch for everybody, tend to my lola's needs, i.e., change diapers, feed her, clean her, etc..... then i realized that i wasnt only giving her my attention but i was giving her my love as well. i was busy with work lately and was not able to spend as much time with her. aniweiz, it was a good thing that i was with her during the weekend.... nakikita ko sa kanya na she wanted to do the things that she does before her stroke.... she is a very good cook! especially her kare-kare.... grabe! sauce palang, ulam na... and her wonderful desserts! but at least, even if she has no mobility on her right side.... di pa rin cya nawawala ng nga faith... i could see that she's happy. btw, its her bday tom.... 80th..... nice noh!... happy bday nanay!

Grabe, its been almost a month since i last posted something here... aniweiz.... ano nga ba..... wats new? hmmmmmm..... ayun, im so busy lately due to music ministry rehearsals for a concert on the 25th.... it will be held at the camp crame chapel (for those of you who want to go, it will start at 7pm) then, hummmmmm ano pa nga ba.... oh btw, my cat susie gave birth to 6 beautiful kittens...

i bought this japanese cookbook.... i wanted to learn how to make chawan mushi.... its an appetizer... sarap sya in fairnes...

well.... sobrang antok pa ko.... actually, im the only one here in the office right now... wala pa yung mga ofcmates ko... mukhang napuyat din sa pakikipag libing kay FPJ.... i think my mom slept at around 6am.... then she woke me up again at 9 am... nasa north cemetery na daw si FPJ.... ayun..... dami nga tao... grabe... halos di na makadaan yung pinaka-carriage nya na haltak-haltak ng isang kawawang horsey na di na magkanda-ugaga sa dami ng tao... it was a very touching moment, lalo na nung binuksan ulit ung coffin nya para makita cya for the last time ni madame susan.... at least he was already laid to rest.
